Vaia (6.23.1979) was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and went to live since he was a kid to Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a Dj, producer, remixer and multimedia producer. His interests for electronic music took him to study the career of music production, a very well known music school in Argentina. He developed knowledge about music softwares, music styles and how to use virtual instrument, starting to experiment with sounds. His first productions were ambient-experimental cuts and his evolution with music took him to Minimal house, a style that he searched and merged with what he learnt. Listening to Vaia..s music takes a time to conect yourself to a state of serenity and open-mind. Don’t be afraid. Of course everyone can enjoy his music although he seems to be a dificult artist, he shows himself with a fusion of house, techno, idm and ambient sounds, but hidden as minimal strategies.
